Welcome,My name is Rachael Burgess and I create eBook courses to teach because my life's journey has been a testament to the transformative power of learning and personal growth.
Through overcoming numerous challenges, including dyslexia, single motherhood, toxic relationships, and financial hardship, I have discovered the resilience and inner strength that education and self-improvement can provide. My experiences have taught me that knowledge is a powerful tool for navigating life's complexities, and I am deeply passionate about sharing the wisdom I've gained with others. By creating eBook courses, I aim to empower individuals to overcome their own obstacles, unlock their full potential, and lead fulfilling lives. Education is not just about acquiring information; it's about igniting a spark within your soul, inspiring growth, and helping others discover that they, too, can transform their lives for the better. |
My Journey...
|
I faced numerous challenges throughout my life's journey, including struggling with school, dyslexia, and feeling like I didn't quite fit into society from a young age.
I once believed that I wouldn't be able to pursue studies in counseling, life coaching, or anything theory based because I thought it would be too complex for me. So, I decided to embrace my strengths and left school halfway through Year 11 to become an apprentice Pastry Chef & Baker. At the age of 18, I purchased my first property, and by 19, I had become a qualified Pastry Chef Baker. Soon after, I found myself becoming a single mother at just 19 years old. In my early 20s, I embarked on a new journey, starting my very successful cake business known as Rachael's Designacake. Remarkably, I achieved this without the help of Facebook or Instagram, all while raising my young children. In my mid-30s, I came to the realization that certain family members and so-called family friends were toxic and narcissistic, and I made the tough decision to remove them from my life. At the age of 34, I became a single mother of four. However, I had faced challenges before, and I knew I could overcome them again. |
The Answer is always within you, sometimes

Through these experiences, I discovered a deep desire to make a positive impact in the world, to serve, and to educate others.
In retrospect, I see that my dyslexia is not a curse but a blessing. It makes me unique and encourages me to think outside the box. Interestingly, my children also have Irlen, a form of visual dyslexia, which is hereditary. They are incredibly intelligent individuals, and I am proud to be their mother.
Driven by my dreams, I pursued certification as a Life Coach through someone I had admired my entire life. Balancing this with running a successful cake business and raising four children, I realized I had accumulated life skills and wisdom that could help others navigate their own journeys.
My path included overcoming challenges like grief, divorce, single motherhood, toxic relationships, domestic violence, financial abuse, financial hardship, and a 7 year divorce settlement. Was it easy? Absolutely not, but I survived, and so can you, no matter what challenges you face.
So, how did I do it? I relied on my inner knowing since childhood, understanding that we are spiritual souls having a human experience. I call this my Universal Mindset. I firmly believe that the Universe/God always has our backs, and our tough times are valuable lessons that help us grow.
